Screen House by Randy Bens Architect



If you want to look for modern architecture which was reuse,renew, recycle and renovate. This architecture design home friendly called Screen House as renovate house to be modern home design. a family want to renew their home and than Randy Bens as popular architect was help them to realize their dream a family want to construct their home rich with mid-century Modernist architecture. And they also allow Bens to create an upper addition that would fill out the footprint of the existing house, but that was not his intention. Bens organized the addition piling up by creating new bulky volumes to be contingent itself on the existing structure, but added a double size in bottom to the living room, and created in top the platforms which would benefit from the sights.


 
For ombrager the living room south-facing of double-size, the architect created a horizontal soiled structural timber screen and anodized aluminium for outside. Placed at the 90 degrees fish, the screen protects the entry against the rain and the sun, and adds a horizontal element to avoid the vertical nature of additional volume. The vertical siding of cedar, roofs gently inclined, exposed the stuck laminated beams and the roofs answer the esthetics of the houses close to post and beam of half of the century. To add a contemporary element, Bens installed zinc panels above and beside the existing openings of window, aligning them with new openings above.
